Perry Ellis is the fifth largest men's designer brand in the United States with retail sales of over $1 billion. Perry Ellis himself died in 1986 and since then the company has changed hands several times. The menswear division has also seen several creative directors with John Crocco being the latest, showing his first collection for Perry Ellis for spring summer 2007. And a refreshing change it is.

The clothes are more wearable and versatile than I have seen in previous collections. The color palette was also very soft using hues in such colors as pewter, soapstone and vanilla. These are the kinds of clothes I can see wearing on a vacation.
