One show I always look forward to is Z Zegna. The designer behind this label, Alessandro Satori, doesn’t disappoint with his spring 2009 collection. The color palette is soft and easy on the eyes with pinks, blues and clay tones. The silhouettes are clean and have a historic look to them but are modernized by using current fabric technology and interesting printing techniques. As with every collection for spring 2009, there are short shorts, but unique to this collection are ribbed fabric for trousers, silky tech knits and prints that look hand applied. The shoes and sandals are pretty neat too.
