As varied as each collection is for spring 2008, there are some definite themes that prevail throughout. The cardigan is a prominent piece, which makes sense for the spring season since it is great for layering. Plaids are back in full-force too--a pattern I love for its ease coordinate with other things. Colors of the season are predominantly neutral (beiges ad whites) with bold splashes of color such as pink and orange. Black and metallics are also seen in some collections.
