If you are afraid of wearing color then scarves might be a good way to add some to your outfit without committing to too much. Of course scarves are a necessity in the cold weather and I prefer to wrap my neck in softer materials like cashmere. Here I have highlighted my favorite men's scarves and several of them come in lots of colors.

This is such a cool scarf--I love the stripes. Definitely for someone who is more modern or fashion conscious. It's 100% wool and very similar to a Paul Smith scarf at three to four times the price.
3. Gap Merino Wool Scarf
For the budget conscious, this Gap scarf is a great value. It has the look of a much more expensive scarf with the pinstripe detail and it's made of soft merino wool.
4. Moreschi Reversible Wool and Silk Scarf

I'm not normally a big fan of polyester or nylon for scarves, but this Patagonia scarf is an exception. It is made with recycled polyester fabric which is amazingly soft. It's also lightweight.
