If you live in an area of the country where cold weather gear is a must, I know it can be tough to find coats and jackets that look somewhat stylish while doing there job of keeping you warm. Here I have picked out some of my favorite casual coats, jackets and vests. I would wear any one of them myself.
1. Spiewak Wool Peacoat

I have seen the Spiewak peacoat in a variety of high end shops as well as average shops. This is a jacket that Spiewak produces every year and which has also become signature item for them. It is also a great example of how a well designed, simple piece of clothing doesn't have to cost a fortune to be considered high end.
2. Down Puffer Vest

A stylish down vest like this one is a seasonal must of you live in a cold climate. This Lacoste vest comes in navy and black and is machine washable. I have one like this and I wear it all the time. I love the convenience of the exterior pockets--great for cell phones, wallets and keys.
