Personally, I love the Norelco Bodygroom. It did an excellent job everywhere I tried it. In the past, I used a combination of my conventional trimmers/clippers (like the one I use to clip my beard) to trim down chest, underarm, and groin hair and then I went back with a wet razor. I have had some bad accidents with this system as careful as I am. The Bodygroom has the ability to provide a pretty close shave in the underarm, groin and other sensitive areas and it does the job without the cuts, razor burn and irritation. It’s easy to clean and easy to handle so now I can’t imagine going back to my old ways. Another About.com Guide said that it "was not only extremely quick and comfortable, but it took half the time of my usual shave."
One complaint by many of the guys who have blogged about the Bodygroom is that the foil/removable head falls off rather easily. But it’s not the case for everyone and I will say that is the only serious complaint. Most of the reviews I have read have been positive. People like that it can be used wet (in the shower) or dry, although it apparently works better dry. And if you have thick hair, it takes a few more passes, but it gets the job done.
