Just before the holiday season many new fragrances are released for obvious reasons. Here I have compiled a list of some of the newest men's fragrances and I have to say that one of them is my new favorite for fall/winter. There are new fragrances I have excluded from this list simply because the reviews are not so favorable.
One reviewer says that this is a similar fragrance to Acqua di Gio but less peppery and another says it "is more of a gentleman" among similar fragrances. It's notes are: Bergamot, Neroli, Citron of Diamante, Bitter Orange Leaves, Geranium, Clary Sage, Blue Hyacinth, Cedar Wood, Old Wood, Mineral Amber, Tonka Bean, Musk.
CLEAN Shower Fresh is just that, a simple but sexy scent that suggests you've just stepped out of the shower. This is a very popular fragrance already and one fan writes that "it’s got a perfect cool tone to it. . . and it gives me that hip, cool, crisp scent I want during the day." Its scents are: Bergamot, Green, Lemon, Thyme, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Spearmint, Muguet, Black Tea, Cedarwood.
This fragrance isn't exactly new, the original version was launched in 1991. But this new "version" has a higher concentration of perfume oil making it last longer which the original edition lacked. Gendarme is said to be "green" with citrus and verbena top notes, and "herbal" with a dry-down of jasmine and thyme, with a slight undercurrent of leather. Its key notes are: Citrus, Verbena, Jasmine, Thyme, Leather.
This could be my favorite new release of the season. I have a neighbor who bought this frangrance and when I smelled it I was blown away. I bought some for myself and that is saying something. One online fan says "this stuff is really nice!" Notes: Bergamot, Cypress, Violet Incense, Jasmine, Tobacco Leaves, Patchouli, Amber.
Kenzo always seems to produce unique fragrances and KenzoPower is no different. A man uncomfortable wearing floral scents may not enjoy this new release. But if you like subdued floral fragrances, I think you will enjoy KenzoPower. I would consider it soft and elegant. Its notes are: Bergamot, Coriander, Cardamom, Rose, Jasmine, Freesia, Tolu Balsam, Cedar Wood, Labdanum.
Prada Infusion d’Homme is perfect for a day when you want only a hint of fragrance on your skin. This is a great fragrance to wear if you want to smell clean and “freshly showered” without overwhelming people around you. Infusion d’Homme is considered citrus and woody. Its notes are: Tunisian Neroli, Iris Pallida, Vetiver, Cedarwood, Incense, Benzoin.
This is a brand new fragrance and I haven't been able to find much information on it at this point. It is purported to be a spicy, oriental fragrance. Its components are: Grapefruit, Coriander, Basil, Cardamom, Ginger, Orange Blossom, Cedar, Tobacco, Ambergris.
One reviewer of Polo Modern reserve says it shares characteristics of the original scent but that it is its own fragrance. This is another fragrance so new I haven't been able to find much information on it other than the press releases. Its main ingredients are: Cardamom C02, Fresh-cut Basil, Pimento Berry, Vetyver-leather, liquid Jasmine, Precious Myrrh Incense, Humidor Wood, Patchouli, Sueded Leather.
