Pulled Back

There are times when you need your hair pulled out of your face while working on something or playing sports, however, pulling the hair back can also look very stylish. If your hair length falls around the jaw line, pull back just the top half of the hair into a low ponytail, as pictured on this model. If your hair is longer, go ahead and pull all the hair back. The key to remember is to keep the ponytails low. Do not pull your hair high up on the crown of your head, otherwise you will look completely feminine. High ponytails should be reserved for the ladies. Be sure to take great care in pulling your hair back. Traditional rubber bands add great tension on the hair and will cause breakage to the hair, snapping strands off. There are numerous snag-free hair elastics on the market readily available to prevent damaging your hair. Some are made from elastic that is smooth and pulls easily from the hair, while others eliminate any metal fastenings on the hair band. They come in a variety of colors from clear, brown, black and fun colors too, although I would recommend that you match the hair band with your natural color.
