The Tomer fall '06 collection could very well my favorite collection for fall 2006. It is exciting to see a designer use traditional tailoring techniques yet shed the stuffy elements associated with fine tailoring. The clothes aren't overtly trendy either. They simply offer a much needed alternative for those who want a dressier look, but without looking like they work on Wall Street. Additionally, the sumptuous fabrics have fluidity, the color palette subtle and muted, and the accessories unexpected (such as crystal encrusted beanies). The collection's end result is looks that are fresh, sharp and easy to wear both for work and play.
