Michael Kors is offering up dressier looks for guys in his fall 2006 collection. I found it to be one of his best that I have seen in recent years. Every look seemed to have a fresh take on a classic idea. And more importantly, there was something for every guy in this collection.
One of the ensembles that caught my eye was an olive patchwork blazer with an olive striped shirt under a coordinating olive mohair v-neck knit and vintage style jeans. It was a look that was beyond collegiate, which is how I normally see Michael Kors. Another amazing look was a crushed cotton velvet blazer with a white poplin tuxedo shirt and black pinstripe tropical wool trouser. The resulting mix of his men's collection was dressed-down smart, dressed-up casual, and just plain dressed up. I loved it.
