Each season Duckie Brown continues to impress me with how the label has evolved to be more about serious fashion. When Steven Cox and Daniel Silver, the designers behind Duckie Brown, first came on the scene, I was aghast at how unwearable the clothes were for most men. But now the label has made contemporary menswear exciting. Although some pieces are clearly for show (like oversized beaded/sequined long sleeved shirts), and still unwearable in my mind, it makes their fall 2008 collection interesting. I'm loving the generous use of dark color in this collection which suits my personal taste and style. Rich fabrics, classic pinstripes, windowpane plaid, tweed and herringbone seem to have made their way into many of the men's fall 2008 collections and Duckie Brown is no exception.
