Tweed

Definition:

A rough woolen fabric made usually in twill weaves and used especially for suits and coats. It is of medium-to-heavy weight, rough in surface texture, and produced in a great variety of colors and weaves. First woven by the crafters near the Tweed River in Scotland; its name is derived from tweel or tweed, the Scottish word for "twill."
