Developed by Du Pont in 1951 and is now the most widely used fiber. That's a scary thought! It resists stretching, wrinkling and shrinking, and adds these qualities to whatever fiber it is blended with. It is durable and can withstand abrasion and rubbing. I don't know about you, but I don't want this next to my skin!
